Checked them out! My favourites (thus far) are “At the bottom of everything,” “I think about you a lot,” “I’m afraid to go back home,” and “can you draw some sheep?” The last one reminds me of The Little Prince. Haha. I’m bookmarking it, by the by.

glad you saw Into the Wild. Sean Penn did pretty good justice to the book on which it’s based. i also did a review at http://puttysauce.wordpress.com/2008/01/12/into-the-wild/

my girlfriend cried for days after the movie, even though she had already read the book, already knew what happens to McCandless. the ending is a shot to the system, and i think it’s mostly because it’s the visceral picture of struggling with death alone. and, even more heartbreaking, he finally figured out too late that alone was not what he wanted to be.

Ah, snowstorms are the best thing ever. How much snow fell? Last year we got almost two feet. It was AWESOME!
